What better way to kick off our 2012 wedding season than getting to photograph my best friend’s wedding? I’ve known Lindsay since before I can remember. We grew up together, and shared sleepovers and secrets, and long bike rides to each other’s houses on sweltering summer days. Her family was an extension of my own. We rode to high school nearly every morning together, and went through some of the tougher times in our lives by one another’s sides. Despite being separated by college, and a big move to the west coast, she’s remained a steadfast part of my life. She was there on my wedding day, shared in the joy of our babies first few months…. my whole life’s memories are peppered by Lindsay’s friendship, and for that I am blessed. So how lucky am I that I got to be there to be such an intimate part of the most important day of her life?
When Lindsay met Peter many years ago, I knew deep down that he was the one for her. He makes her smile, and appreciates her silly sense of humor. They balance each other out, and more than anything… they have that thing. That thing that you can’t explain, but you can just feel… and I hope Barbara and I have done justice to their love. Speaking of Barbara, I owe her a huge huge thank you for taking the lead role for a good portion of the day so that I could sit back and enjoy my best friend’s wedding.
Lindsay and Peter, I love you both so much. Congratulations!! I’ve been (not so) patiently waiting for you to get back from your amazing African honeymoon so that I could post these, so prepare yourself for the biggest wedding sneak peek eva!

I need to give a huge kudos to Barb for this shot below… it is one of my very favorites from the day!

Almost all of the shots below are Barbara’s, because at this point I was transitioning over to guest mode and she rocked the rest of the day mostly solo.
