This little guy was so sweet, and at just two weeks old he slept like an angel.  I’ve been anxiously awaiting this little one’s arrival for months, and I was so lucky to meet him today.  

I adore newborn shoots, but even more than that, I love Mom and Baby pictures.  There’s nothing sweeter than those first few weeks of getting to know each other and just generally being in awe.

It’s a good thing I’m already pregnant, because even I got a touch of the fever today.  Congratulations again, Kristina and Dave… he is absolutely perfect, and so lucky to have the two of you as his parents. 

Totally annoyed in my house. 

We tried on L.A.’s costume a few weeks ago, and it didn’t go over so well.  So I decided to prepare him for the big night, he should put it on again.

He’s still not a fan.  In fact, I think he was downright pissed at me. 

Clearly, he’s had enough, and is searching for an escape route.  Look at this little bottom lip… at this point I had to force myself to stop laughing and actually feel a twinge of bad mommy guilt. 

Here’s hoping the third time’s a charm and tomorrow night goes a little better.

As promised, more pictures of the gorgeous Miss Paige.  Her eyes are incredible.  Sorry for making you wait so long, Mom! 

It’s just too bad her parents don’t completely adore her, huh??  ;) 

I know this is BEYOND a tease, but when I saw this image, I had to pull it out to share.  How sweet is this moment??

I’ve been slacking (again)… and I apologize… I’ve been sick (again!).  Between that and the whole growing another human thing, it’s pretty much sucked the life out of me. 

We had some friends over on Saturday night – something I’d been looking forward to all week – and I proceeded to fall sound asleep on the couch at about 8:02 pm.  WHILE our friends were still there.  That is the awesomeness that is my life these days.  Lucky for me, I have the greatest friends in the world and they didn’t hold it against me, but still. 

I’m going to muster up some energy and get this blog back in order, stay tuned. 

Of P2!

Who is the size of a lime, by the way.  If she’s only the size of a lime, why in the world is my belly sticking out so far???  For the record, I showed very early with L.A. too, but this is just plain ridiculous!

Oh, and I’m making it official, I think P2 is a girl, and will probably be referring to her that way until I’m proven wrong.. which will be when she (or he) is born since we aren’t finding out ahead of time.

I’ve spent the afternoon going through the pictures from this weekend’s whirlwind of holiday mini sessions, and I have to say, I’m a lucky girl.  Look at these beautiful children and families!  Thank you everyone for meeting me so bright and early on this chilly weekend.  

First up – the Longoria Family.  Three beautiful kids, and if you want to hate Mom along with me, join in… seriously?!?  Three kids and that figure?  So not fair. 

this picture probably won’t go on the Holiday card, but I love everything about it… her faraway look, the little hair across her face, the haze of the morning sun shining through.  This may be one of my favorite images of all time. 

Next were Joey and Ally, who you surely recognize by now. 

have I mentioned before how amazing the eyes on these two are?

Speaking of amazing eyes, I have never in my life met a little girl with more beautiful green eyes than sweet Lilly… not only was she gorgeous, but one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met. 

I adore this picture on so many levels, but the symbolism here made me catch my breathe. 

And then I met Jenny, Alex and their pup Otis.  I wish we lived closer, because I could totally picture C and I  meeting up with them for a drink (post P2 of course). 

the light at the end of our session was just amazing, and both Jenny and I love a good walking away picture!
