Though I often complain about living in New England with it’s long snowy winters, it does have it’s benefits now and again. Most notably staying home with my boys on a day that should have been packed with meetings and work.
L.A. loves to watch C use the snow blower. He faithfully stands at the back door and watches him the entire time he’s out there, waving each time excitedly as C walks by. This boy sure loves his daddy. I do too.
Then this afternoon in the time I would most often be spending rushing from work battling the other commuters, L.A. and I had a few extra moments to snuggle up in a big blanket and read some books. He can’t get enough of books lately, and we’re encouraging it!
So though it can be cumbersome to deal with the snow while living around here, it sure is nice to be forced by Mother Nature to slow down every once in a while.
