This post could alternately be called “I’m so screwed”. L.A. has absolutely no fear. Not of heights, not of falling, not of bugs, not of water. Especially not of water. I have yet to decide if this makes me incredibly proud or scares the bejeesus out of me. I think it’s a little of both.
We’ve been spending tons of time this summer next door at our neighbor’s pool, and L.A. has been loving it up. The first few times I admittedly was on edge as I envisioned my little dare devil just jumping in without anyone there (and he tried) but he’s been doing better with the pool rules, and we’re all a little (and I mean a little) more relaxed. In any event, all this pool time has turned the little dude into a water rat. He loves to go under water, he’s dying to swim on his own, he blows bubbles and loves to be tossed in the air. So while it’s a little lot nerve wracking, it’s also tons of fun. Check him out with Ericka, the best neighbor a gal could ask for, and her son Eli (or Ahlee as L.A. calls him).
