It’s only for a moment that they’re this small, this snuggly, and fit this perfectly against your body. I remember staring down at my own boys cozied up against me and wishing with all my soul that they would just stay little. Stay this perfect tiny person that evoked awe and wonder. It goes by so.fast. and moments like these need to be frozen. To be enjoyed, to be reflected, to be remembered.

December 14, 2009 - 12:16 pm - Oh boy are you right. I look back at the newborn pics you took of Olivia. Only FIVE months ago and she is just a totally different person now. Still awesome and adorable, but definitely no longer my little smush of a newborn. So glad I have those pictures.
