I love you x 2. | CT Newborn Photographer | CT Multiples Photographer

I know what it’s like to love a new baby.  To look into their sweet sleepy face and drink in the amazing newness that is there.  To allow yourself to imagine and dream what this tiny person one day might become.  I do not know however, how it is to feel this way about two tiny little people… I can only imagine it is love multiplied with a little dash of wonder, as you think of how they’ll grow up always together.   As promised, an encore of Amelia and Emma.

What a treat this session was – beautiful family, adorable little man, and another gorgeous morning at Harkness.  I couldn’t have planned it better if I tried.

My little peanut

Sweet boy, with your dark soulful eyes.  You are such a gift to this family.  Content to go with the flow, rarely causing waves (likely because you realize that your brother and sister have those roles covered), just happy to hang out with the rest of us.  One day you’re going to do something big in this world, I can feel it in my bones.  In the craziness that is our life, you are often my sanity with your sweet smile and crazy dance moves.  Your dad thinks that I sometimes try to keep you a baby, and maybe in a way he’s right… but there’s something so innocent and yet so wise in your eyes.  I’m not sure I’ll ever be ready to see that innocence go.  I love you little guy.

The Anderson Family | CT Family Photographer

The highest honor you can have as a photographer is when another photographer hires you to take their family portraits.  Becky and I met on one of my online forums, and we quickly hit it off.  So when she asked me to photograph her family, I was thrilled.  It doesn’t hurt that they’re all absolutely gorgeous!!  We met up earlier this week at Harkness Park, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful morning.

Becky, you are stunning!!!

William | West Hartford Child Photographer

There are clients I love (okay, pretty much all of them) and then there are clients I love.  William and his family fall into the latter… I’ve been photographing this little man since he was just days old, and it’s been such a pleasure to watch his family grow.  His mom and I are never at a loss for things to talk about, meeting up with them is more like meeting up with old friends.  Now, as they anticipate the arrival of their second little guy, we have even more in common. Our children go to the same (amazing) pediatrician, we chatted about mothering boys, and the uncertainty and twinges of guilt that surround adding another child to your family.  I promise though, when I see them again in a few months after the little one arrives, we’ll laugh together about ever doubting that you could love your second as much as your first.  L, enjoy!!

Love.

Mark and Jenny | CT Wedding Photographer

Mark and Jenny got married on a beautiful September day at the quaint Red Lion Inn up in the Berkshire mountains.  They invited only their closest family and friends for an intimate affair that I was honored to be a part of.  With simple grace, and not much fanfare they promised their lives to each other in a sweet, quiet way.  Many congratulations to you Mark and Jenny, thank you for choosing me to capture your day!

Sarah and Phil | CT Wedding Photographer

He makes her laugh, she has a gorgeous smile… these two are getting married this winter at St Clement’s Castle, and a quick chat about details has me so excited for February to arrive.  I can’t wait… the wedding is going to be gorgeous!  For now though, here is the happy couple…. and they tried to tell me they weren’t any good in front of the camera.  I beg to differ.

Anthony | CT Child Photographer

It’s hard to believe that it’s been (over) a year since I’ve seen this adorable little guy.  I deliberately told my husband that this shoot would likely be a tough one because two year old boys are known for it… but Anthony shocked me!  Not only did he hold my hand from the moment he got out of the car, he kept the sweetness coming.
