]]> http://www.cristaacosta.com/blog/index.php/2011/12/max-west-hartford-newborn-photographer/feed/ 0 Emma and Amelia | CT Child Photographer http://www.cristaacosta.com/blog/index.php/2011/12/emma-and-amelia-ct-child-photographer/ http://www.cristaacosta.com/blog/index.php/2011/12/emma-and-amelia-ct-child-photographer/#comments Wed, 07 Dec 2011 01:17:09 +0000 Crista http://www.cristaacosta.com/blog/?p=1238 I haven’t seen these two since they were way teeny tiny and they have grown so much!  I do have to share a little funny story… I sort of pride myself on my ability to connect with children very quickly.  To get to your child to open up and give real, silly smiles the first time they meet me… but sometimes that doesn’t happen.  Sometimes someone may take a tumble .32 seconds into the session, and no matter what any of the adults do, there is no kind of happy face going to happen.  Sometimes, you just have to know when to call it a day and try again.  That’s what happened the first time I saw these little ladies, but we wound up meeting up a few days later – moods were better, the weather was warmer, and we got some of my favorite images of all time.  This first one, and the black and white below of the same set up are some of my favorite images ever!
