Most people around here know how much I love snuggling and photographing newborns, so when you have twins and I get to basically snuggle one baby or another the entire time? Heaven!!! Boy/girl twins usually amaze me, because they look so similar and yet so distinctly different. Little Madden is such a tiny peanut compared to her brother, and I loved trying to capture their differences before they even out as toddlers!
I can’t believe that this little peanut is already a year old! When her mom contacted me about doing a quick little mini shoot to celebrate her first year, I was so excited to see her again. Her hair, and that sweet little smile, I couldn’t get enough of her cuteness!
You know those women who pregnancy seems to just completely fit? They look stunning, and gorgeous and have that totally vivacious pregnancy glow? Meet Amanda. She’s totally one of those women.
Camryn is six months old and at one of my favorite ages. Sweet baby smiles, a little bit of adorable chub, and it doesn’t hurt that her mama has great taste and always picks up a few fun little items for her sessions.
Little Ellie bean. I’m so grateful to have gotten to know this family over the past two years. I’ve traveled three states to capture their cuteness. Stay tuned, Ellie is a baby planner and I can’t wait to see her again in 6 months!
The gene pool in this family is just absolutely off the charts. Little Chase is possibly one of the cutest newborns I’ve ever had the pleasure of snuggling, and his brother is beyond sweet. So helpful, so kind, and so proud to be a big brother. Newborn sessions are always such a wonderful peek into a tiny portion of time. When everything is a little chaotic, lives have been turned upside down (in the best possible way), and everything is so new. I pinch myself sometimes that I get to be a part of this.
Oh Miss Myla. What a pleasure it has been to watch you grow over the past year. From a tiny little peanut who made a scary arrival into the world to a sweet little 6 month baby and now, as a happy, sweet and silly one year old.
So what do you do when you have a January one year session and it’s way too cold and crummy outside? You head to a beautiful museum and have a field day! For the photo buffs (like Myla’s dad), this entire session was shot with available light at ISO’s ranging from 1600-4000. Looooove my Nikon!
I first met this beautiful mama to be many years ago… we started in the same training class at a big name insurance company, and we immediately hit it off. C and I spent many weekends back when we were still dating hanging out with her and her husband, because they were just the kind of people that you wanted to be around. As often happens, life took us in different career paths, and we lost touch for a few years. By the power of FB we wound up reconnecting a few years ago and when we first met up for lunch after having not seen each other in ages, it was as if nothing had changed. So when she finally told me she was pregnant, I was beyond thrilled and honored to be the one capturing this amazing time for them.
