I’ve met my match. I consider myself to be something of a newborn whisperer, I can almost always soothe babies to sleep, but Liam had his own agenda. Our session wound up stretching over two days and nearly six hours… but in the end, I think I got him.

How lucky am I? Two beautiful six month old girls back to back!! Here is gorgeous Gianna. Her mother and I had a funny “small world” connection at her shoot, and it was a real treat to hang out with the two of them for the morning. J – it was so nice meeting you (again!).

I seriously get to photograph the most gorgeous people. The genes in this family are ridiculous, and I feel bad for V’s mom in a few years when she’ll be trying to shoo all the little ladies away from her sweet little boy. In addition to being adorable, Vincenzo was the biggest flirt. We’ve been trying to get his 6 month session in forever now, but we finally met up last week. I can’t wait to see him again in a few more months!
As soon as I took this picture my heart skipped a beat, and I turned to V’s mom and said “that was definitely one of my favorites and we’re only 5 minutes into your session!”

You know I love me a sleepy bendy baby…. but Kayla wanted to prove to me that wide awake babies are just as much fun, and she was right. Despite fighting sleep, she was happy and sweet… just a joy to photograph.

While I think we can all agree that the triplets are super duper cute, this blog is long overdue for some more frequent updates! I’ve been busy, but I have lots of sessions to share, and tons of personal pictures that I still haven’t gotten to (including our 4th of JULY trip!). I’ll be better, I promise!
I can’t even begin to imagine life with three babies… and yet somehow when I met the mom of these three sweet boys, she was calm, relaxed, and didn’t look nearly as exhausted as I did when I was a brand new mom of just one. I’d like to give a big thank you to Becky for helping out on this shoot!

Three times as sweet…
This little guy made me work for it… I had the white noise machine blaring, despite the shushing and patting, and nursing breaks, he wanted nothing to do with his sleepy newborn shoot. A few hours, lots of snuggle time with mom, the heater on blast, and he couldn’t fight it any longer. He finally fell asleep, and oh was it worth the wait.

Last week I got to spend the morning with this sweet little guy who I’ve had the pleasure of photographing several times in his 8 months. Despite a few teeth trying to put a damper on his day, Kaleb was a joy (as always!). Thank you for being patient with his sneak peek, K!
