As sweet as her name. I first met this family back in the summer of 2008 when I photographed her older brother who was just learning to walk, and now I’ve been able to share in the joy of their new daughter. I’ve said it before, but I stinking love my job.

One of the greatest things about what I do, is that I have the opportunity to watch families grow. When I first met this little guy, he was just a few days old, and here he is now almost 7 months!

Okay seriously… babies laughing? Best thing EVER.

Oh, I just want to squish his little cheeks!! Can’t wait to see you again in a few more months!

It’s only for a moment that they’re this small, this snuggly, and fit this perfectly against your body. I remember staring down at my own boys cozied up against me and wishing with all my soul that they would just stay little. Stay this perfect tiny person that evoked awe and wonder. It goes by so.fast. and moments like these need to be frozen. To be enjoyed, to be reflected, to be remembered.
