I’ve photographed Lucas more times than I can count now, and every time I do is more fun than the last time. By now, he knows what I’m up to, but he was totally on board with being my little model. At one point he even stopped me and pointed to a cute little doorstep and said “Do you want me to sit here for you?” Umm… yes, little buddy I sure do!
I love photographing children, all children, but especially happy smiley sweet little boys like Anthony. We started off at the beach and spent some time just playing around.
How stinkin’ cute is he? If you’ve hung out here before, you know I love me some chubby baby feet.
After the beach we headed back to do a cake smash session and I have TONS of fun photos from this!

I have a whole crop of baby planners turning one in the next few months, and it amazes me to see how much they’ve grown. William is special to me though, I’ve photographed him 4 times in the past year, and each time he’s sweeter than the last, always smiling and happy to see me. I think I have a baby crush on him.
Anyway… we met up last week at Bushnell Park and had a great time hanging out. Did I mention he’s stinkin’ adorable!?

C and I are lucky enough to be part of a great group of friends who are sort of all in the same place in life… either pregnant with #2 or having just had our second. It’s wonderful to have people who really understand where you are and don’t bat an eyelash when your toddler throws themselves on the floor in hysterics for the third time that day. Not that *my* child would ever do that (yes, I’m rolling my eyes as I type that).
Kate is one of the newest additions to our little circle of friends, and I got to meet her the other day and hang out with her mom (who I adore!).

I got to meet with this beautiful family Saturday Morning at Elizabeth Park, one of my favorite locations to shoot at this time of year. Despite the fact that there was a marathon being run through the park, we were able to tuck ourselves away and grab some great pictures. Thank you so much for spending the morning with me!
Will was not so sure about me or my big black camera, but I managed to snag a few of his cute face despite his best efforts at avoidance!
The love these kiddos had for their Grandparents was sooo apparent!
The only one that was really interested in getting her picture taken was Miss Emma, who was quite the ham!

Last weekend, I was invited to document James’ 6th birthday party, and it was one of those days that brings you back to your childhood. The kids had a blast and on that warm sunny day, the yard was filled with laughter, shrieking excitement and the sheer joy that only this age can have.
To say James’ mom threw a great party would be a tremendous understatement! There were all sorts of fun events and little details that made it a total blast.
There was a water balloon toss that quickly turned into an all out water balloon fight. These four images were taken in quick succession, notice the moms in the upper right running for cover! ;) Smart move, ladies!
Just as quickly as it started, it was over, and this is all that was left:
After the balloon toss was a treasure hunt, and in everyone’s treasure bag there was a little squirt gun. Guess where this is headed? The ca-RAZIEST water fight ever!! James of course as the birthday boy had a slight advantage with his super soaker.
Then we all headed to the back yard for a quick break before cake.
James didn’t think anyone was watching, but I caught him swiping a little taste as Mom lit the candles. 
In true birthday fashion, he sat down with a nice slice of cake almost as big as his head and that poor cake didn’t stand a chance!

The other night I met Kaden and him mom at a local park, and at first he wasn’t so sure of me and my big camera…
but by the end, I think he warmed up to me, don’t you?
