The mom of this beautiful little girl has been so patiently waiting for her sneak peek, and I can’t wait to share it. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again… I LOVE this age. 6 months is just the best. Smiles, baby chub, and in Emma’s case – the most amazing blue eyes I’ve ever seen. Oh, hello there… Holiday Card 2009! Love this picture of their sweet family.
I just love him. I’ve photographed Lucas several times now, and every time I do I feel like I get a peek into what our life will be six months from now as he’s just about that much older than L.A. This time, our session was filled with lots of curious questions, hilarious jokester behavior, and just general, super sweet Lucas!
Ryan is turning one in just a few short days, and I got to spend some time with him and his beautiful parents this week. Poor little guy is working on some teeth, and despite our best efforts wasn’t so sure of my big ol’ camera. He’s super cute though, so it didn’t even matter!
A kiss and some snuggles with mom was the best way for us to end this session. Check out his sweet little tummy showing.. I just love it.
I totally bribed my sick child today to sit still for 3 seconds with the promise of a gigantic lollipop. I knew I had just one shot before he ran away, but it was worth trying since he usually avoids eye contact at all costs once he sees the big black camera.
Turns out, I wound up loving the lollipop pictures even more.
I’m still not sure how we got here. When exactly did my tiny baby become this little boy?
He’s my little stinker… my funny, too smart for all of our good, temperamental little brute. He doesn’t seem to know his own strength, yet has been amazingly gentle and kind with his little brother. Though I’m a little worried they’re already conspiring against me. I didn’t check for sure, but I’m willing to venture a guess as to which finger this it.
I cannot put into words how much I adore photographing six month olds. They are just so sweet at this age… smiley, happy and immobile! I love that they can’t run from me yet. 
You may remember this little man from some previous sessions… he just keeps getting cuter.
and lastly… this is quickly becoming my favorite set up for this age group… so simple, it lets the munchkin shine through!
