We decided to make Gabby’s six month session a combo family session, and despite blazing sun and chilly temperatures, everyone was troopers and it was totally worth it. Check out Gabby’s cheeks… I swear I could kiss them all day long. Thankfully her mom is one of my oldest friends, so that makes it a heck of a lot less strange that I say that!

The highest honor you can have as a photographer is when another photographer hires you to take their family portraits. Becky and I met on one of my online forums, and we quickly hit it off. So when she asked me to photograph her family, I was thrilled. It doesn’t hurt that they’re all absolutely gorgeous!! We met up earlier this week at Harkness Park, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful morning.

Talk about a little ray of sunshine… this peanut has – hands down – the most infectious laugh I have ever heard. At one point during her session she started giggling, which turned into a belly laugh, which then had her parents and I laughing so hard I could barely catch my breath. Loved her.
I’ve been in a color mood lately, so I’d expect that you won’t see a ton of black and whites on the blog for a bit. The colors outside in CT are far too beautiful to miss! Clients will still receive black and white images in their gallery, so no worries there. 
Do you remember this beautiful belly from a few months back? I finally had the opportunity to meet sweet Ginny on Saturday. Though we had originally planned for a newborn session, Ginny had other ideas upon her arrival. After a few scheduling conflicts, I got to photograph her at three months. I love this age, the perfect amount of baby chub, and little gummy smiles.
Oh, my clients… they all become my friends, and become near and dear to my heart, but this is different. Kristina was a friend and coworker before she was a client. I cried when she told me she was pregnant, and I watched her belly grow. Her son’s newborn session was the first that I walked away from feeling that I really had a calling to newborns, and ever other session we’ve done throughout the past few years have left me happy and inspired. Kaleb is about to be a big brother, and I was so happy to capture these last few moments between Kristina and her sweet little guy. This is a familiar scenario to me… a toddler who seems so grown, and in just a few weeks will feel like a giant compared to his baby sister…. but a year from now, I know that you’ll look back on these pictures and realize what a baby he was. Kristina and Dave – I love you both, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your family’s memories.

The BEST before and after EVER….. I asked Kaleb to blow raspberries on his mommy’s belly, and he was ALL about it!!

I met Alex this past weekend, and we were lucky enough that the rain held off just long enough for us to sneak outside for a few pictures. J & D – hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
I love photographing children, all children, but especially happy smiley sweet little boys like Anthony. We started off at the beach and spent some time just playing around.
How stinkin’ cute is he? If you’ve hung out here before, you know I love me some chubby baby feet.
After the beach we headed back to do a cake smash session and I have TONS of fun photos from this!

I seriously get to photograph the most gorgeous people. The genes in this family are ridiculous, and I feel bad for V’s mom in a few years when she’ll be trying to shoo all the little ladies away from her sweet little boy. In addition to being adorable, Vincenzo was the biggest flirt. We’ve been trying to get his 6 month session in forever now, but we finally met up last week. I can’t wait to see him again in a few more months!
As soon as I took this picture my heart skipped a beat, and I turned to V’s mom and said “that was definitely one of my favorites and we’re only 5 minutes into your session!”
