Amelia and Emma

There are some things in life worth waiting for… this snuggly, sleepy shot was definitely worth the hours it took us to get there.  When I arrived A & E’s mom let me know that Emma was known as the diva in their house, but she ironically slept the entire time I was there.  It was little Amelia that didn’t want to miss anything.  In the end though, we lulled her into cooperation, and it was well worth it!

I have tons more cute images from this session, but I’m up to my ears in editing with sessions (sometimes doubles!) happening almost every day this week.  I promise to be back to share more when I come up for air.  :)

Chase & Sawyer | CT Family Photographer

I headed out of my house a little past 6:30 (am!!) on Saturday to meet these little dudes and their parents for a bright and early session.  Sawyer and Chase have energy I can only dream of ever having – and though my two boys aren’t twins – I felt like this was a little sneak peek into the future.  It involves A LOT of running to keep up!  ;)  Amidst the running and exploring though, there were lots of sweet quiet moments.

As a mom, I could not love this more.  Please Big Guy Up There, if you’re listening… let my boys still snuggle like this when they’re four.

We got some very cool traditional family portraits in this spot, but I’m not gonna lie – the in between moments are always my favorites.

Like this one? LOVE.

These boys just make me smile.

Luca and Gian | CT Newborn and Multiples Photographer

Little Gian decided that at 32 weeks he had enough of being in utero, and wanted to get out and see the world…. Luca, he wasn’t so sure of the plan so he hung out for another 14 hours after Gian was born (Sarah – again – you are my hero!)   These guys spent a few weeks in the nicu gathering up strength, and when I met them last weekend they were already 2 months old.  I’m not going to lie – it was a challenge to get them settled and sleeping at the same time, but when working with babies, patience is key.  Lucky for us, it TOTALLY paid off!

Gian – the little troublemaker!

and Luca, who fought sleep for a good 2+ hours before finally zonking out.

Enjoy those boys, S&G!!
