Baby Braylen – possibly one of my favorite newborn sessions in a very long time. Both he and his parents were just gorgeous.

Another pretty baby girl courtesy of this gorgeous mama. No surprise that she was born with a gorgeous head of hair given her mom’s beautiful locks.

When David’s mom contacted me to let me know that she had another baby, I was thrilled and a little intimidated. When I had done her daughter’s newborn session less than a year ago, we set the bar high, and those are still some of my very favorite images. I wasn’t sure if we’d even be able to come close, but luckily there were beautiful antiques and inspiration galore – I’m thrilled with these. C & D – congratulations on your adorable little guy.

Reconnecting with old friends is always a wonderful thing, only made more amazing when there’s a new baby to celebrate. Rocco’s mom and I have been friends since high school, and she’s quite possibly one of the sweetest, most positive and upbeat women I know. In short, Rocco is super lucky to have her as his mama. Can we talk for one second about how absolutely gorgeous this little man is? The hair, cheeks, the lips?!!? I’m not going to lie, I had to physically restrain myself from kissing those little cheeks off – he is SO cute.

and one quick one of his little peepers. Kristin and Dave, congratulations again!

Oh sweet little Parker… nearly five hours and two days, and this little man wanted nothing to do with my charms. I swaddled, and rocked, and shushed and snuggled, and the second I put him down he was not happy with me! In between all that snuggle time though, I was able to snap a few sleepy shots…. and honestly, with a face this cute – I didn’t mind spending the extra time with him one bit!

(here’s a more accurate description of our time together)

My pint sized assistant, Parker’s adorable older sister.

And lastly… just for laughs, I’m pretty sure this is what Parker really thinks about me.

Reese’s mom and I go all the way back to high school, but hadn’t spoken in years and years. In a strange twist of fate, when I was pregnant with L.A., Reese’s mom was pregnant as well. We reconnected and found out that not only were we seeing the same Dr, but our babies were due just days apart.
Reese is the fourth and final (?!?!) addition to her beautiful family. Look at these smooshy little lips!

Myla made her entrance into this world just shy of 33 weeks into her mama’s pregnancy. Despite her early and unexpected arrival, her parents seem like old pros at this parenting thing. This little peanut is quite possibly the smiliest baby I’ve ever photographed, and definitely one of the sleepiest I’ve had in a while.

melt.my.heart.

With two older (and adorable) brothers to look out for her, this sweet girl will never have to worry.

Those lashes!!
