William | CT Baby Photographer

The always (almost) perfect solution for a baby who is fed up of my camera during a session?  Just let them be nakes.  This little man was SO beyond done with me, and all of a sudden in a last minute thought to get some cute captures of the adorableness of this stage, we got him undressed and William was absolutely psyched.  Some of my favorite baby pictures of all time!

Meghan - Oh man those naked shots are BEAUTIFUL!! What a cutie!

Gabriel | CT Baby Photographer

I’m in the swing of a bunch of my teensy newborn Baby Planners hitting their sitting stage, and it’s been so great to catch up with these cute families again.  First up, Mr. Gabriel.  He wasn’t quite so sure about me at first, but after a little bit, he completely warmed up and we had such a cute little morning.  I adore this sweet family, and have been photographing them since big brother Julian was just a days old baby.

Mila and Nico | Twin Newborn Photography CT

There were little tiny pockets of sleep going on this day, but more than anything, we were getting a lot of sweet baby eye contact, some sibling snuggles, and then a whole lot of Mom & Dad twinsie love…

Janelle - First of all, congratulations to this beautiful family…these two are so precious. And the photographs are amazing as always :) I had to open up the page because the names caught my eye. If I ever had the chance to have twins or even a boy and girl seperately, I have chosen Mila and Nico. I absolutely love the names!

Scarlett | CT Newborn Photographer

Scarlett.  Otherwise forever known as the most beautiful baby in the world.  I may in fact have (fairly inappropriately) suggested to her parents that they have 100 more babies because she’s just so pretty.  I mean come on…. those lashes, her cute little natural pixie hairdo, the perfect little lips?!?  To top it all off, she slept like an absolute angel.  100 more babies.  And a personal security detail to fight off all the eventual would be suitors.  Seriously.

Ellie is One! | CT Child Photographer

This little mama’s session was the first of several that were affected by our crazy blizzard/snowmageedon a few weeks ago… and this one was so important and time sensitive because of a very important medical issue we HAD to get it done before the storm hit, so as the forecast changed, and the outlook was grim, we all shuffled our schedules around to make this session happen, and I’m SO glad it worked out.  Ellie’s first birthday so SO needed to be celebrated…

Nicole - Thank you so much!!! :) Ellie looks so little out of the cast (https://picasaweb.google.com/101958403086329126235/February2013#5847462408619979074). I love them.

Isaac | CT Newborn Photographer

This little guy, despite me crying upon his arrival into the world made me really work for his sleepy newborn shots…. but in the end I made sure that I coaxed him into a content little slumber, and I’m so happy with the results!

Also, a big shout out to Isaac’s mama for being such a huge help and bringing him to our Inspire workshop last week and letting me get some extra snuggles in while sharing my tips and tricks for newborn photography with other photographers.

Meghan - Oh so cute!! I actually love the awake one you posted here :) Thank you so much! I can’t wait to see the rest of them!

Becky - He is so precious! The family shot is perfection and big bro with little bro is just SO cute!!

Sam - those are perfect! one of my fav pics i’ve seen crista take! beautiful family!

David | CT Baby Photographer

I know I have lots of “favorite families” that I gush about… but it’s not just a fluffy exaggeration, I’m really lucky to have a lot of clients who invite me to document the story of their family, to watch their children grow and capture the essence of that very moment in time.  David is 6 months now, and I’ve been photographing this cute family since his big sister was a sweet little newborn.

I love the six month age – the big bright eyes, the huge gummy smiles and delicious baby chubs… there’s nothing better in the world!

Jean Gottenborg - Darling pictures Crista, thank you for capturing the moments.
