For the past four years I’ve been lucky to have my friend (and incredibly talented photographer) Barbara work by my side for each of our couple’s weddings. Since we’ve been working together so closely for so long, we’ve developed our own little unique dance of how we cover weddings. I’m usually the one shooting up close and getting teary eyed – all wrapped in the moment, while she steps back, bringing a totally different creative vision to the day. I can give her a glance and a nod of the head across a massive church and instinctively she knows what I’m thinking, and what our next steps are. She makes me laugh and keeps me sane, and she’s excellent at wrangling rowdy groomsmen! The most important part though is she sees things from a totally differently perspective than I do, and that in turn brings the best of both worlds to your wedding day.
